No, they didn’t elaborate. All the said was if we are planning on going to the bowl game to be prepared for the Alamo or Texas bowl. But they heavily stressed that we buy the bowl game tickets directly from the UH website.

Which is the way it always goes - too bad the ticket allotments make that more of a labor of love than it should be.

I’m going to guess the Texas Bowl is where we end up and playing against LSU or Texas.

LSU probably won’t be in the Texas Bowl they played in it last year. The Texas Bowl has only invited a team in back-to-back years 1 time in its history, it was Minnesota 12-13 and they had by far their lowest attendance for the second year.

Then I take it could very well be Tennessee or Mizzou.
I think Mizzou, is reasonable, even if TCU is their opponent, they are the closest outside of LSU. I think UT or Vandy get the Citrus Bowl, but they have 2 bowls in Tennessee and Vandy and Tenn have not been in the last 5 years. No telling, but they have 3 bowls in Florida, and 1 in Nashville, Vegas, and Memphis. The Texas may be one they don’t fill because they have some awesome destinations.

ESPN just created the XBOX Bowl as a temporary replacement for the Bahamas Bowl whose stadium is undergoing renovations. I’m sure the XBOX Bowl has deep, deep ties to the city of Frisco.
