What will it take to keep Orlando?

His resume is full of 2 year jobs. I will even go so far as to say that keeping him around might be a bigger priority than keeping Herman. Can we pay him the same as defensive coordinators for schools like Alabama and LSU? Can we add into the contract that if Herman leaves for another job that the head coaching job is his?

I think Orlando and Meekins (top recruiter) are key for continued success for Houston, with or without Herman.

Have heard that Orlando’s aspirations are to become an NFL DC as opposed to a college HC.

Yep, doubt we keep Orlando unless we make him one of the highest paid DC’s in the country and keep CTH.
