yes, I believe most neighborhoods like River Oaks that have or had discriminatory deed restrictions likely have not spent the money and effort to remove the restrictions. That is my understanding though, no one wants to spend the money to remove them typically and they are already voided by law.
Your figures might be more current than what I was looking at from a general google search. My point wasn’t so much that Tomball is majority white or should be considered mixed, it was to counter Firstandten’s statement that said basically all Houston suburbs would be considered the same as the community mentioned in the article of the original post.

Mine in spring branch still had discriminatory language from the ‘50s in our deed restrictions. But the nice thing about that was, when I wanted to add a 2nd story addition to my house which was not allowed, I didn’t care. Just try and enforce those rules

Yes, demograhic experts will tell you that the white (both WASP and ethnic whites) + African American populations are decreasing whereas Hispanic populations are increasing.
But that’s not accurate because 'Hispanic ’ isn’t an ethinicity …its a term for initial ‘port of entry’.
A German family that immigrated to central Texas is ‘white’ wheras a German family that immigrated to northern Mexico and then to the US is 'Hispanic '.
After a few generations, and especially after they speak primarily English, they revert back to their ancestry…
They need to remove 'Hispanic ’ and have them state what they are (regardless of port of entry). If you are 100% Spanish…you are European White.
If you are majority indigenous …you are native American.
If you are majority African…you are black.
We need to stop with this port of entry BS…that isnt accurate for ethnicity makeup…only culture differences

On the future of Africans. They have very high birthrates to increase their world % population but most are immigrating to Europe and other continents instead of North America.
Most of the population of African Americans here is declining or mixing with white or Hispanic partners to further dillute the majority African lineage…Houston is a perfect example.
Look at the demographic % in 1970 and look at the % break down in 2020, between Whites and Hispanics…African Americans are stable here

Why would I do that? A whites only community, if that’s in their by-laws, is racist and likely runs afoul of the law if challenged.
Not sure why you’re so quick to take offense and stand up for them. Basing the rationale as a tie in to European roots is just a smokescreen for no darkies.

I mean not the point I was going for, but yes they hated everyone. It’s about the marketing the community is saying they are just “building a community of their own European-Values.” It’s not any different than when the Klan tried to rebrand itself under David Duke.
Just because you use nicer words, and keep the slurs on the inside doesn’t make it less shamelessly racist.
