Who’s the coach next year?

Agree a 100%……hope they make it happen.

Talking to him again will only make it worse….he’ll just go through the motions while losing every week.

The other day on 790 he mentioned like three times how “he was burned” and that’s why he didn’t call plays, etc……don’t remember word for word but he definitely referred to himself as though he were worn out.

Don’t want it to be Dana but I think the buyout is just too steep.

Bold prediction: He’ll be here next year, even if he loses every game remaining on our schedule.

Probably, whole staff is getting tossed under the bus though. Be a lot of new faces.

Carlos Beltran or whoever can steal play signs like the Astros did so we know what the heck they’re doing.

If it is Dana I will likely decide against renewing my season tickets.

his current buyout is 19 mil if he is not the head coach next year…

context: it would be cheaper to replace texas coach than holgs after the season…

we are stuck with holgs

Doesn’t it drop after January 1st?

it drops to 19mil after jan 1st… its 23mil if we fire him before

You know what? Someone will pay that buyout and UH Athletics will make a Houston R12E video about it. Like “oh we believe in this team so we paid this guy a bunch of money to retire and we can move forward Houston let’s rise”
