Why Did We Call Timeouts?

Made the score look worse! Stupid.

That was mean. Im lashing out. My bad.

Trying to win. Never quit attitude. New team needs this

True but we also made the score look better when we scored to make it 42-31

To stop the clock?

If we stop them there, Score, onside kick, who knows. Can’t quit at that point.

Showed a Never Quit mentality.

I’m on board with that.

The first timeout, I was cool with if we had stopped them again If still be cool with it. After that first long run, no the have is completely decided, just wrap it up.

Agree.

I’m thinking we called the timeouts to simulate a clock management situation like that in the future.

Say we are down by 3 to UCF with 3 minutes to go and we are in D. Practicing now allowed CDH to be on the same page with his new assistants and to get the call relayed to the players.

There are no preseason games in college football.

they hadn’t quit thinking they could win yet. We fans need to do the same. I for one was almost ready to turn the tv off at 21-0. Normally I don’t miss a play. I am glad I hung in there because the guys did well once they calmed down. Sure they lost but it wasn’t embarrassing
