Does anyone use the campus wifi networks to connect your TV for tailgating? Just curious if this is an option and how the network speed is. Considering cord cutting but don’t want to lose my tailgating tv capability.
It’s awful in the stadium so I bet it’s just as bad outside but I don’t have personal experience
Most stadiums I’ve been to have pretty poor wifi.
For many years I just used rabbit ears and watched the games on air TV. Then I discovered a device that lets me hook up my IPhone to the TV with a HDMI cable and since I have Directv and get the sports channels I am able to stream off the ESPN app all the games. My phone provider is AT&T so I have unlimited data. The games we watch are in HD and works perfectly in the green lot where we tailgate.
