As week 12 unfolds, we need one thread (not the Coogs are 7-2 thread) to track how the games play out for the other 5 teams with 1 or 2 conferences losses.
With 5 other teams in this category, there’s a “good chance” that some of UH’s competition ether falls away (or perhaps the Coogs make up some ground) this weekend without even playing.
Only 3 weeks to go. UH needs to Win out and have 1-2 teams falter each remaining week.
This thread is about the Coogs “winning the bye week” specifically.
The other is about CFB Games week 12 (UH bye week) and no one is talking about “how to win the bye week”. In fact, it’s gone down the Scott Frost Rabbit Hole…
That one helps but we probably need even more chaos to get ranked out of the bye. Might need 2 out of Iowa, Pitt, and Cincy to lose as well to make it happen.
Been hoping the Big 12 gets multiple CFP bids but would love to see Arizona and TCU upset Cincy and BYU. Should give us a great shot at playing our way to Arlington.
you are right, then i take it back; the acc is still the better athletic conference imo.

I have to respectfully disagree. Big 12 is 6-1 vs ACC in football. The Big 12 went 28-16 against power conferences in basketball. ACC went 22-29 against same power conferences.
Yah I was replying to someone else. I’m just happy to see that the Coogs should be getting back in the polls against because of some of the discourse on the site last week. People were way too down on this team.
