Maybe, but you usually don’t announce that you’ve “signed” a guy unless he’s on scholarship. The team announced he was a member of the class.
JD stated that Harris would “join” the team this summer so they’ve got a little time to figure it out.

USF does pick up a grad transfer from Farleigh Dickinson, PG Stephan Jiggets.

Outgoing:
- Freshman Dashawn McDowell from SMU decided on his transfer destination and will be enrolling at Seattle University.
- Wichita State had 2 players declare for transfer today: Junior SG Daishon Smith who started 12 games last year, but was down to 6-8 minutes a game by the tourney and Sophomore PG Kaelen Malone who averaged the least amount of minutes on the team last year.
Incoming:
- PF Jeriah Horne from Nebraska will be transferring to Tulsa. Horne will be a sophomore and will have to sit next year with 3 remaining.
- SG Antonio Lang Jr, son of the former Duke player, will be transferring from Auburn to USF. Lang was phased out of the rotation by Bruce Pearl as the season went along. He will be a senior, but will more than likely have to sit a year before being able to play.

Interesting that we’re rumored on these two considering we have no spots available. They’d have to sit out a year so maybe something can be worked out that way, but I’m not sure how we’re fitting all the guys that we signed right now. Jarreau is a 4* freshman who averaged 9.8 ppg and 4.5 apg an Gresham’s a 3* PF, 6-9 210, who averaged 3.3 ppg and 3.2 rpg.

I dunno, Patrick. But I love this new aggressive style of coach Sampson. Makes you feel like if he was in some type of restriction his first few years at UH. Now, he is recruiting at another level. The new facilities may have a lot to do with it. Getting on social media, and seeing how this new generation of kids are now, has help some. Getting coach White, a proven recruiter, is also a plus. Wouldn’t shock me if the basketball team has a similar run to what the football team has enjoyed the last couple of years.
Definitely. He’s pushing all-in right now to improve this team and hopefully the results should bare that out.
