What’s the deal with those padded helmets? Is that for concussion protection?

I take it they aren’t doing the blue stripe anymore. I forget, did we do that last year?

They kept it around for a bit, but phased it out last summer.

The practice was something that Urban Meyer implemented at his stops and Herman brought over. CMA wasn’t crazy about the idea and didn’t keep it. Feels that all players have already earned their spot on the team.

So is the padded helmet going to be covered by the shell of a normal helmet?
