Fletch being in AA as a 2018 draftee is pretty incredible.

Last I saw Cumbie was putting up good numbers with the Rays’ High-A team too.

Crazy, just talked to his mom Monday and they were planning a trip up to Harrisburg next month to see him…guess they’ll be changing those plans.

3 Coogs in the Seattle system now: Scheiner, Fletcher and Villarreal

He’ll be playing in Little Rock now, so at least it’ll be a closer trip. Although that’s definitely not the nicer part of Arkansas.

Just want to thank the @nationals organization for making my dreams become a reality a little over a year ago. This year has been interesting to say the least. Now that it’s time to move on I’m ready to give everything I got to the @mariners. Ready to get after it!!! :muscle:t5:

Dowdy was given back to Cleveland since they no longer wanted to keep him on the main roster and he was a Rule V draftee.

Well, we went from 4 guys in the majors this year…to zero right now. Lot of movement this past month, though as guys were up and down all over the place.

Here’s the hitters. Biggest news was the promotions for Connor Wong to AA and Connor Hollis to A+. Joe Davis has also been tearing it up since landing in Lowell (A-); would be nice to see him move up before the end of the minor league season.

And the pitchers. Here’s a list of movement since there’s been a lot

  • Austin Pruitt was reassigned to AAA on Jul 4th and hasn’t been called back up since after 7 trips back and forth.
  • Daniel Ponce de Leon was a victim of the Astros and was sent down to AAA on Jul 31st. Surprised he hasn’t been back up as he was pitching well.
  • Jacob Lemoine was reassigned to AA on Jul 15th after struggling at AAA. He’s been dominating AA so far, though.
  • Patrick Weigel got to spend 2 days with Atlanta, but didn’t pitch in any games. He’s back at AAA as of Jul 21st where he continues to look good.
  • Kyle Dowdy got injured early this year with Texas after being a Rule V pick. Looks like Texas decided to end it though before he came back and returned him to Cleveland. He was assigned to AA Akron where he’s looked good so far.
  • Aaron Fletcher has been sensational this year, got promoted to AA after only being in the minors for a year, made the Nationals Top 30 prospect list, and then was traded at the deadline to Seattle. He’s currently at Little Rock (AA).
  • Fred Villarreal and Ryan Randel have been bouncing back and forth to find the right opportunities. Villarreal has been pitching great so far and hasn’t given up a run in 6 appearances.
  • Lot of guys are pitching really well that didn’t move: Trey Cumbie, John King, Nick Hernandez, and Tanner Lawson are really pitching well right now.
