@memphis if they bounce back …vs smu if they keep winning …but both are unlikely

Has UH @ #12
Lunardi is like Seth Davis. He will have a us a little lower and if you look at that grid, he doesn’t even have us as conference champions, he has Tulsa. Place your faith in the NET numbers…
Relax. All is fine. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
Lunardi has Tulsa as the automatic qualifier because Tulsa beat UH and has the head-to-head tiebreaker advantage.
If UH wins the AAC outright, the AAC could be a 1-bid league. SMU’s loss at home to Cincinnati hurt the NET rankings for the AAC.
At this stage, just get in the field. Defense + guys like Jarreau and Grimes giving veteran backcourt leadership will give you a shot every game. As long as you are not a 16 seed and stay out of the 8-9 range, you can avoid the Top 4 teams.
We’re in the cat bird’s seat with 2/3 of the season remaining.
Just.Keep.Rebounding
We are in for sure already lol unless we lose the rest of our games, that ain’t happening
Absolutely. Sorry, I meant I am not worried about seeding as long as it is not 16 (Coogs will be left out before being a 16 seed) or 8/9 since I don’t want them to play a 1 seed before they get used to the court at the bubble.
Update: 1/10/21
#11 In AP Poll
Kenpom: 11 (10) down 1 spot
Sagarin: 7 (6) down 1 spots
BPI: 8 (8)
Torvik: 10 (9) down 1 spot
NET: 6 (7) up 1 spot
Tulsa with 5 votes😳
Isn’t the AP poll pretty meaningless !!
Not bad. 3 seed in a winnable bracket. And for comparison he’s got Louisville winning the ACC and a 4 seed.
I like the 3 seed but not sure it’s winnable bracket w best Team in the Country in same bracket. Getting to Elite8 very doable in that bracket though.
