Initial kenpom rankings dropped last night. AAC not getting much respect in the initial rankings but it really doesn’t matter until the games start.

That is BS. We have proven to be a strong league and all four should be higher to start the season. But, I guess we will move up soon enough.

I don’t care if they put UH at #1 every year, preseason metrics are dumb. At least let the kids play 1 game , geez. Or preface it as “Speculative” rankings.

Since Kenpom is all statiscally based the problem is the bottom of the conference hurts the top in the AAC.
I don’t see that it is too far off.
Cincinnati and SMU are bubble teams
Memphis has talent but a lot to prove
We are established and inside top 25.
