Overstating what Jolly was this past season
Iām just trying to give my inside info report on Kopp. But thereās no need to bash it. I can give you a whole scouting report on him if you give me time. Not just two games. I also have been asking NW fans.
Iāve been following him closely ever since his brother committed to UH football last fall.
He never got going this past season due to Covid
Very talented player though
But does he have cultural issues? I will leave it to coach
If he comes here he will be a role player with more talent around him.
When the matchups work he will see more time, when not we have other options.
Could also give us more flexibility for small ball
Big-time pickup for Memphis.

No excuse for UH, Memphis, and WSU to not all be in the NCAA tourney next year.
I think we need to see the new comers for Memphis play first.
They could lose their front line and their PG

Timberlake is the typical Penny recruit at Memphis. A player thinking NBA before he steps on campus. Then is OK as a frosh. But Timberlake seemed to be injured all season. He is 6ā 6 215. He played in 7 games for Miami. Played near 28 minutes per game and averaged 9 points and 5 rebounds. Shot 28.6 % from three point range.He is a SG who was rated the #35 recruit in the country and seventh best Sg recruit.

I hope we replace those 2 Coaching vacancies with some good recruiters. Doesnt seem like weāre in the running for any of the top Transfer players out there.

He got hurt early in the season which is why he played 7 games. If he played the whole year he was a 1st rd pick.
Only one coaching vacancy. McLean was in a support positionā¦You can have three assistants. We have Kellen and Quannas, both good recruiters. We have the Brooks opening to fill.
Some just donāt get it. Sampson , unlike Penny doesnāt look to sign the one and done Nba seeking players who are stat driven and playing for draft position. He looks for players that are coachable, play hard for the team and put winning first. You will not see Sampson signing the 5 star player looking to play one year unless it is a special situation.
