Better 3rd drive for Mayfiled…he went 3/3 for 23 yards and had a TD

Make it happen!

4th drive not good for Mayfield
3/7 for 30 yards, 1 sack for -7 yards, and a delay of game penalty

In his first drive of the second half, Mayfield throws 8 incompletions…however 3 of those were on penalties…so officially he was just 0/5.

Time to put in Keenum

Jackson is fun to watch. Football player.

The ravens will destroy the Texans too.

What a waste not to put Keenum in for at least one drive during that game…I think Mayfield got all the live action practice he needs throwing incompletions.

Meanwhile, in Minnesota, Cousins is doing what he does best, padding his stats against the prevent defense after the game is lost.

The browns lost the LT from Alabama.

They play football team next.

They won’t put Case in until they have officially given up on Mayfield. I think it will take several losing games and poor performances by Mayfield for that to happen, too much money on the line. Also, too much on the line for the GM that drafted him.

5 or 6 game before he goes in. Unless Mayfield just totally bombs or something.

Wasn’t that Bill O’really’s all games all quarters defense?

BOB is a boat anchor dragging on the bottom that the Texans have to overcome whenever they win a game.

You do know he was hired 2 months after firing of Paterno, then rt after that due to Sandusky sex abuse scandal the NCAA came down with unprecedented sanctions not seen b4. They had in the low 60’s # of schollys after mass exit of players transferring as NCAA allowed any player to transfer. Many thought they would win 2-3 gms that first year— they finished 8-4 after beating Wisconsin and could not go to Bowl for 4 yrs. Again I’m not some Huge BOB fan by any means but I need to make sure info is put out when needed. Good or bad that was one of the main reasons the Texans ownership/Executive leadership was impressed with him when interviewing was how he was able to keep Nittany Lions ship sailing and not let program sink. Many were predicting PSU would go to D2 level bc they wouldn’t be able to overcome the major sanctions. Those 2 yrs were critical and the rest is History.

Via Bleacher Report:

Given all that Penn State was facing at this point 10 weeks ago—seemingly crippling NCAA sanctions for years to come, a first-year head coach with no college experience, an 0-2 start and a dwindling base of talent—the very notion of Penn State securing a winning record here in 2012 seemed at best implausible.

Yet here are the Nittany Lions at 7-4, one season-ending win against Wisconsin away from locking up sole possession of second place in the Leaders Division. That’s a strong season—strong to quite strong.

The key to that success, without question, has been the steady leadership of head coach Bill O’Brien, whose players never faltered after their unparalleled early-season adversity and proved themselves capable of competing at the Big Ten level even with a talent drain that has already left the team under 70 scholarship players—even before sanctions will limit the team to 65 scholarship players for the next few years.

That doesn’t alter the fact that he’s a jerk and a boat anchor draging against the Texans.
