We didn’t net $1.7M. The net will likely be less than $1M.

DeLoss Dodds was honored before the game. You read that right. So the hype video did not phase me much but it was tacky. The school spent lots of money on savings and loan stadium. Let’s play there.

AND we played on Friday night so there was exactly ZERO high school football players at the game… or their families.

Yeah, probably 42,000 UT fans and 417 Rice fans.

A T-shirt fan is a fan and anyone that tries to differentiate between the two is being a snob. I met a guy last night Who did not go to UH but goes to our game because he’s a Houstonian. There’s no way, and no justification, for me to call him a T-shirt fan.

Why didnt they play that game at Rice? It was their home game and they were not going to fill up NRG

T-shirt fans money spends the same as UH grads.

Because Rice hasn’t learned to grow a pair.

Dont they realize they could be another Stanford if they actually cared. Andrew Luck actually wanted to play for Rice but their investment in the football program was so bad he opted to go to Stanford.

But interesting thought…would a legitimate Rice help or hurt us? The PAC could invite both UH and Rice IF Rice actually invested in their program, generate fan support, etc…but they choose not to.

The UT game was a PERFECT opportunity to create buzz on campus and probably have the largest attendance there in recent memory BUT instead they went for the cash grab to bow down to Horns Alums.

Oh…Whooty Who…SMH

UT aint playing Rice at Rice U

Lol, just having fun bro. Occasionally, fans from one school make fun of fans of another school. It’s weird but it seems to happen often.

The PAC isn’t expanding to 14. The divisions don’t work.

The only reason they can be split North/South right now is bc Cal/Stanford are guaranteed games against UCLA/USC every year even though they aren’t in the same division (a clause that was added when they went to 12).

Adding 2 more doesn’t work well enough that the northern teams are going to give up even more Cali games. PAC expansion has to be to 16 imo.

The tailgating was great! Having the grills close to the venue is the way it is supposed to be.

Its to bad UH decided to throw away their tailgating atmosphere.

Huge mistake imo.
