The University of Houston Campus Recreation Center stands alongside any competitor. Three basketball courts, two high-school sized courts, an indoor soccer field, a 53 foot climbing wall, and a 70 meter competition lap pool – and that’s just the beginning. UH also has one of the most impressive leisure pools out there, a 31,000 square foot facility with three lap pools, two water slides, a 20-person hot tub, and a lovely waterfall with underwater seating. Outdoor fitness includes intramural fields and functional fitness units around the outdoor track for training in the Texas sun.

Their photo showed inside the student center, not the campus health and recreation center.

Dr Khator has consistently spent on facilities.
Gogue was here when the Rec center was built; Renu was at USF.
It might have been Smith that ok’d its construction, however (And BOR et cet).
I thought it was rated the best in the country after construction. Falling to 38 it might be in for an upgrade.
