Looks like the AAC is going to continue doing videos into the Spring besides just “The Rise”:
The top four teams in The American standings entering the week will meet, as 22nd ranked Cincinnati welcomes SMU to Fifth Third Arena on Thursday… while Saturday features the two teams currently tied for third - Houston and UCF.
On the women’s side, UConn and USF are ranked in the latest AP poll. The Huskies, who moved to 2-0 in conference play with a win over East Carolina last Wednesday, are two games away from breaking their NCAA record 90-game winning streak set from 2008 to 2010 and they’ll have an opportunity to set a new record this Saturday, at SMU.
Over to men’s soccer where the 2017 MLS Player Combine gets underway this week… and six players from The American will put their best foot forward in front of 20 MLS clubs in Los Angeles. All invited players are eligible for selection in the 2017 SuperDraft presented by adidas which takes place this Friday, January 13, at the LA Convention Center.
