Outside of the “playoff” how often do two teams from the same division in a conference play each other in a bowl game?
According to SBNation…Texas A&M is playing Mississippi St. in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Dec. 30.
I thought we were playing Fresno St

A&M is playing in the Belk Bowl. Hopefully that means the link is also wrong about Hawaii and that is not confirmed.
SMU confirmed to Frisco Bowl. Memphis gets the Liberty Bowl slot that SEC couldn’t fill to play Iowa St.
Maybe they mean Texas Tech…or just Texas then.

Just got a news alert on my phone that we are playing Fresno St. in the Hawaii Bowl
Confirmed now, we get Hawaii against Fresno St. I’m disappointed since Independence and Birmingham are both available.

The AAC actually got some good bowls this year. The Peach, Liberty, Hawaii, Military, and Birmingham bowls are not bad.
