“This is a tremendous honor that everybody in the conference selected two of our student-athletes to the All-Freshman Team,” Head Coach Ronald Hughey said. “I’m very proud. When you come in as a freshman there is a lot of pressure on you, especially playing in your home city and home state. Jasmyne and Angela stepped up to the challenge. I’m really proud of them for that. They knew the pressure was on, and we asked them to do more than most freshman should, and they stepped up to it. I’m super excited about the future and what it holds for them.”
