BOOM! Caleb Mills commits (Update: At school - redshirting)

We also have lost better players in Dotson and Gray. We’ll be ok.

FWIW, Mills is now listed as a 4-star recruit by rivals. Caleb Mills, 2018 Point Guard - Rivals.com

He’s not ranked but for the 2019 class all of the 4stars are ranked 134 or better (maybe bc he’s enrolling this semester; other similar early enrollees are also not ranked despite high stars).

Mills will be enrolling this semester

This is why 247 sports lower his grade from 94 to 89; because he reclassified.

This hasn’t aged well.

:joy::joy::joy::sob: right…

@CougarRed making it seem Galen has turn himself into a volume shooter :joy::skull:
How many 3 point shots has he taken, or jumpers for that matter. Most of his points against LSU came from tear drops, ala Tony Parker.

Sidenote: For a comment to have not aged well… make sure it was a small example of under performing a trait, that is being pointed out and not three years of sub par shooting :sunglasses:

Galen’s 2018 season averages: 3 point shooting - 10 of 23 for 43.5%, and overall shooting - 30 of 67 for 44.8%

Thank you. You made my case. Galen is not a volume shooter, he’s a pass first point guard who is not much of a threat from outside because he just doesn’t shoot enough jumpers. And when he does shoot overall, he’s shooting at an average (44.8) clip

Galen might not shoot volume but has been effective behind the arc! Obviously we want ball in his hands because of his excellent decision making ability. Him now making 40+% of shots make him even harder to defend. John Thompson said it best “the young man is a winner!

Because of Galen’s improved outside shooting, teams can’t guard him like they did last year when many teams just ignored him when he was on the perimeter. We’ll win some close games because of that.

SL ignored him once today…result RIP !!

Dress in red sweats and sitting on the bench…

Ranked No. 6 in NC.

The question is…where would be ranked if he had signed with Duke or NC ??

He looked bored because he couldn’t play or overwhelmed but he was shaking all the guys hands and saying they were doing good. Cant wait until he bulks and plays

So now we know why we had only 12 scholarship players on the team. CKS knew Mills was coming in this semester taking the 13th Scholly.

CKS…is da man !!
