Is Belton a new pipeline?
Seems like Central Texas is starting to be a pipeline
Sounds good to me.
I think some of these are due to Garrison Vaughn’s commitment and recruiting of local players.
I suspect you are right. I see that as a good thing. First, it shows we have a leader in Vaughn and one that is pumped to be a Cougar. Second, if a 6A all-state selection as a Junior wants to be playing with these guys that is a pretty good recommendation.
Interesting, seems like a Cam Malveaux type: tall and needs to fill out a bit.
Also interesting that he’s another Belton kid; Belton’s coach was Bob Shipley who is now director of high school relations at UT. Considering I see a RT daily about a saying he makes, we may be getting some heads up about these kids and those kids may be getting steered in our direction due to the close relationship between staffs.
Rivals has him rated as a 2 star while 247 doesn’t have him rated yet.
