Defensive MVP of 15-6A as a junior - I’d say that’s worth at least 3 stars! Kid has a high motor, hits like a truck based on his HUDL highlights and has received offers from the service academies and Rice so is obviously a good student as well.

If you are and MVP for either side of the ball in a Texas 6A district, you are a darn good football player. Another commit, Garrison Vaughn was named to the 6A All-State team… and is a low 3*. It really makes me think we are getting the guys who can really play ball but may be overlooked for one reason or another.

Demoted to 2 star, but not sure why. Rivals has him as a 5.6 and 247sports has him at 84. I think they’re factoring in the 0 from Scout.
And I’m only posting this because I have nothing else to do…

It would make no sense to factor in an NR rating, but that is the only thing that makes sense.

So has TCU offered him? Or is he hoping for an offer during his visit? I’d hate to lose him.
It looks like he just picked up an offer from TCU and Texas Tech on Monday
He can play here right away…I’m not sure about TCU and TT roster. This kid is good. He reads play and plays it at right speed, doesn’t over pursue and finishes with burst.
