Kemeny was the Florida High School 3A State Championship runner-up in the 100 breast (personal best 1:03.39) and finished fourth in the 200 IM (2:06.31) as a junior in 2018-19. She also was part of Lincoln High School’s eighth place 200 free relay.

In March 2019, Kemeny swam a personal best 2:14.98 in the 200 breast at the Florida Swimming Spring Senior Championships, qualifying for the 2019 Summer Juniors (LCM) meet.

As a sophomore, Kemeny was the Florida 3A HS state runner-up in the 100 breast (1:04.20) and finished third in the 200 IM (2:05.51). Both finishes improved upon her performance at state as a rookie, when she was third in the 100 breast (1:05.92) and eighth in the 200 IM (2:09.93).

Kemeny won the USA Swimming Futures (Tennessee) title in the 200 breast (2:37.21) in the summer of 2017 and finished fifth in the 100 breast (1:14.49). She was the 100 breast champion (1:05.53) at the Florida Swimming Senior SCY Championships in February 2017 and won the 400 free (4:29.06) at the 2016 Florida Swimming Senior LCM Championships in July 2016.
