Looking at getting some tickets for the game on the 25th.

Anyone know what section the team sits in front of?

(I just realized how silly that is to ask. We’ll have about 500 in attendance, right? I can just move to the section I want, I assume)

Based off the scrimmage from Sunday, team would sit in front of the X and Y sections on the below image. Just remember, anything not in the 100 section (small sections around the court) is GA.

Is O-K, H&G, C, B, A, Z, Y and U really sold out?I would guess that G, H, I, J, K and L are student sections, but I’m surprised to see so much more of the bottom sections greyed out.

Each of those bottom sections only has, at most, 70 seats in them. Most of them were probably bought by season ticket holders that want priority next year when the Fertitta Center opens.

Guessing the GA grayed out sections are for people that bought GA season tickets and the students/band.

SEASON OPENER HISTORY
• Cougars will compete in their 73rd season opener on Friday night.
• Houston has posted a 52-20 record in season openers during its history.
• Cougars have won their last eight and 12 of their last 13 season openers… Only a 65-63 loss to Georgia Southern on the first day of the 2K Sports Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer in Durham, N.C., prevents a longer streak.
• Houston has won handily in recent history, winning their last eight season openers by an average of 21.9 points per game… That includes back-to-back 41-point wins against Prairie View A&M (110-69, Nov. 18, 2015) and Morgan State (93-52, Nov. 11, 2016).

• FREE schedule magnets to first 500 fans

What’s the parking situation at HP&E?

They have a garage just south of the arena, but there’s also a shuttle running from south of TDECU to the arena as well:

On foot or horseback? I could watch CKS interviews all day long.

Agreed. Love when CKS talks as it’s always informative and, most often, entertaining.

Last chance to see the Coogs at “home” (H&PE) before Thanksgiving. Hope some people show up tonight!

Where’s Gray?

Suspended 1 game for playing in a church league.

LOL, that’s a new one. I pity the weekend warrior that drew the assignment of having to guard him.

Corey Davis and Brooks look good so far.

And looking for Brady multiple times down low.
