Cougars need speedy receiver Marquez Stevenson injury-free

“Just trying to keep him fresh and get him to Sept. 1,” receiver coach Kenny Guiton said of the season opener at Rice. "With his past injury history, we definitely want to be smart with him.
“We know how explosive he can be, how fast he is and a great guy with the ball in the open field.”

Asked if the knee injury has affected his speed, Stevenson said: “Not at all.”

I am looking forward to seeing Stevenson finally play a full season (knock on wood). The kid can be a legit slot WR on this team. Was my favorite WR commit in the class that had Corbin and Lark.

From what little I saw, Lark ain’t too shabby. I’m expecting a lot from him.
