I am reading in the Austin paper about UTs current players and I see 3 that herman stole from us when he left.
I thought for sure that Dana would be able to sway some recruits from WV.
but I do not think that happened.
On purpose or just couldnt get anyone.

The new early signing period changed a lot of that, plus the fact that Dana coming here didn’t happen until January. A totally different situation really than when Herman went to Texas.
The guys Herman stole were Texas kids that were groomed to follow him. Dana wasn’t grooming his recruits to follow him as he didnt know he was leaving until he left.

CDH didn’t seal the WVU recruits loyalty with a kiss. Otherwise, they all would have followed him to UH.

Yeah. Dana’s commits being subject to a signed NLI while Herman’s weren’t is probably the main driver.
