The blitzes we made were retarded. Delayed safety blitz from 12-15 yards deep. The safety hasn’t reached the LOS before the ball has been thrown.

If he is disciplined and starts adding picks, his draft prospects would be high.
Hopefully we have learned from our defensive shortcomings last year. We need to increase our number of blitz schemes at least ten fold, have our corners line up a lot closer to the line and play a little man to man. If those things happen, we have the talent to be pretty salty.

This isn’t d’onofrio’s second year coaching defense so i doubt their js going to be much change.
I thought we were banged up by the year end in the secondary so it was difficult to press. With the uptempo offenses, you now need 4 cornerbacks. We dropped below that number by yearend.
