Your #7 Houston Cougar Men’s Basketball team will be competing in the American Athletic Conference Championship inside Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on March 11-14.
With the safety and wellness of the student-athletes, staff and guests in mind, the American Athletic Conference, in conjunction with Dickies Arena, will operate at a socially distanced, reduced seating capacity of 25%.
Based on the reduced capacity plans at Dickies Arena for the 2021 Tournament, the ticket allotment for all participating schools has been greatly reduced compared to prior years.
Houston Athletics is exploring options to secure additional tickets to assist our fans with tickets for the Tournament. Consistent with prior Championship events along with understanding ticket demand by our loyal fans, we’re asking those interested in attending the American Athletic Conference Championship to register for tickets by placing a $200 deposit. The ticket deposit registration deadline is March 1 .
The $200 deposit will be placed toward the final cost of the tickets assigned. If seats are available, the card will be automatically charged the remaining balance. Placing a deposit does not guarantee tickets to the Tournament, and the deposit will be refunded if tickets are not available. A maximum of four (4) tickets may be requested when registering for tickets.
Parties may also request to be seated near other parties, and Houston Athletics will use best effort to accommodate. A reminder, both parties should submit the seating request. All tickets issued are All-Session ticket books.
Ticket assignments will be based upon the Cougar Pride Priority Point System (click HERE ) and will be assigned by best available within the requested price location selected at the time of the deposit. As a reminder, Cougar Pride Priority Point accrual for the American Conference Championship equals one (1) point per ticket purchased.
Tickets will be issued at Dickies Arena from the University of Houston Will Call window. Further information on ticket pick up will be provided as details are finalized.
