According to the Houston Chronicle, Jefferson suffered a concussion and knee injury in the opener against Arizona and is questionable for Saturday’s game against Rice.
I hate that immensely but I am grateful we’re all taking concussions a lot more seriously nowadays. I love football as much as anyone but there is no substitute for good health.
He was knocked out cold. That may take a while to recover from. My nephew was undercut in basketball and hit his head on the floor and had problems for about a month. Take all the time he needs.
Now, we don’t yet know about his knee; but that could take a while – or not.
