Chambers said he benefited from Rice’s focusing on blocking All-America defensive tackle Ed Oliver, who had 13 tackles and 3½ tackles for loss in the game.
“You know there’s a lot of attention on Ed,” Chambers said. “He’s the best player in the nation, and we all know that. We know that frees us up to be one-on-one. When you are one-on-one, you need to win those matchups.”
