Frederick Lewis to Compete at Pan-Am U20 Championships

After a stellar performance at the USATF U20 Championships, Lewis will compete at the Pan-American Championships as member of the 4x400-meter relay. Lewis will hit the track for the Cougars alongside Justin Robinson, Matthew Moorer and Trey Johnson, qualifying for the squad after finishing third in the 400-meter dash at the USATF U-20 Championships with a lifetime best 46.66 for third-place in the event.

Man, can find the video of some of the other races, but not the 4x400. Really wanted to see the splits, but can’t find those either.

Looking at some hand-times on twitter, Lewis ran in the 45.6 range on the 1st leg. By comparison, at the Penn Relays, UH set the regular season mark and what ended up as the 3rd best mark overall and Lattin led off with a 46.4.
