Harm Named The American Women's Golfer of the Week

After finishing second overall and leading her team to a second-place finish, University of Houston junior Leonie Harm was honored Wednesday afternoon as the American Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week.

In the team’s most recent action, Harm closed the LSU Tiger Classic with an even-par 72 to surge into second place with a 54-hole total of 220. The Gerlingen, Germany, native recorded her season-best finish and her eighth Top-20 showing in nine tournaments this year.

This season, Harm leads the Cougars with a 72.84 scoring average and 12 rounds of par or better.

Wednesday’s award was the second weekly honor of her career.
