Baylor enters the weekend series with a 12-1 record and is ranked as high as No. 10 in the nation.
The Bears’ only loss came in a 4-0 fall to LSU in the College Classic at Minute Maid Park last weekend.

Looking forward to this series.

Any tv for this ???

Just the all-access for Baylor. Sunday’s game is on Fox Sports Southwest

I was able to login into baylors video feed with my credentials.

Game has been pushed back 15 minutes due to weather. Could be rough trying to get it in tonight as there’s rain all over the area.

Same lineup as Wednesday

Wong C
Padgett CF
Davis 1B
Scheiner SS
Julks 2B
Lockhart RF
Triolo 3B
Bielamowicz DH
Etzel LF

Romero P

Top 1st
3 groundouts for the Coogs make it a quick inning

M1…No Score

Bottom 1st
2Ks, a double, and another K for Romero

T2…No Score

Top 2nd
Coogs load the bases as Scheiner walks, Julks singles to left, and Lockhart bunts and the catcher tries to get Scheiner at 3rd, but isn’t successful
Triolo grounds out to 3rd, Baylor throws home and gets Scheiner - 1 out, bases still loaded
Lineout to short and Lockhart is doubled off

M2…No score

Not a promising start there

Bases loaded, no outs… no runs.

FFS

Why is Julks playing 2nd? Of our dozens of errors so far this year, that one was by far the saddest.

And then on cue, a passed ball to put a runner in scoring position from absolutely nothing.

“Why is Julks playing 2nd”?
We were wondering the same thing…Is Hollis hurt since Schiner is playing SS?

Bottom 2nd
Grounder to Julks that he throws about 5 feet to the right of Davis, passed ball moves the runner to 2nd, sac bunt moves him to 3rd, and a groundout to short scores the run…Bears lead 1-0
K#4 ends the inning

T3…Baylor leads 1-0

I think Julks is at 2B because Hollis is hitting .250 this year and the freshmen have been hitting so far. Basically wanted to get Julks back in the lineup after his early season slump and he’d been practicing prior to the season at 2B. Julks played 2B Wednesday vs. PVA&M.

However, that throw was awful and Julks is hitting .182 so far (although he did get a single in his 1st at-bat tonight).

This is hard to watch.

Top 3rd
Groundout to 1st, Single to center by Wong and then a strike-em-out-throw-em-out double play to end the inning.

M3…Baylor leads 1-0

For some reason, Wong slid in sitting straight up which made the tag easy. If he slides lower, he’s in easily.
