Top 2nd
Coogs load the bases as Scheiner walks, Julks singles to left, and Lockhart bunts and the catcher tries to get Scheiner at 3rd, but isn’t successful
Triolo grounds out to 3rd, Baylor throws home and gets Scheiner - 1 out, bases still loaded
Lineout to short and Lockhart is doubled off
Bottom 2nd
Grounder to Julks that he throws about 5 feet to the right of Davis, passed ball moves the runner to 2nd, sac bunt moves him to 3rd, and a groundout to short scores the run…Bears lead 1-0
K#4 ends the inning
I think Julks is at 2B because Hollis is hitting .250 this year and the freshmen have been hitting so far. Basically wanted to get Julks back in the lineup after his early season slump and he’d been practicing prior to the season at 2B. Julks played 2B Wednesday vs. PVA&M.
However, that throw was awful and Julks is hitting .182 so far (although he did get a single in his 1st at-bat tonight).
