A link for the game would be great!
Great win. The kind of stuff you saw in flashes from this team in the exhibitions and early games, but that we never saw for a full 40 minutes of basketball. We wonât get that kind of output from Devin or Corey every night, but we also wonât have Rob sitting in foul trouble for that long most nights.
One thing that I think has gotten lost because they arenât stat stuffers but Breaon and Nura Zanna currently have combined for about 9 points and 10.5 boards per game in 32 minutes total. Those arenât amazing numbers, but Kyle and Bert gave you about 4 points and 6 rebounds in 28 minutes last year. Getting that little bit extra, plus what they do that isnât as easily measured, will be huge for this team the rest of the season.
Looking for one, but I have a feeling the replay wonât be uploaded. Game was on CBS Sports and games on there arenât usually uploaded often (see UH-Tulane football).
@srassen7 Agree on the impact of the big men. Not just their counting stats, but their defense inside makes it difficult for teams to get to the bucket. Now if they could stop racking up fouls at an alarming rateâŠ

UH picks up signature victory with rout of Arkansas
By Joseph Duarte, Houston ChronicleDecember 2, 2017 Updated: December 2, 2017 9:51pm
He dished some pain of his own Saturday night.
Davis had a career-high 28 points and 10 rebounds as Houston completely dismantled Arkansas 91-65 at Texas Southernâs H&PE Arena for one of the programâs biggest wins under fourth-year coach Kelvin Sampson.
âPersonally, it was a payback game,â Davis said.
Arkansas is up on #14 Minnesota at the half. If they hold on to win, it should help our RPI
Ended up winning by 16. That win looking even better.
I like the UH defensive intensity and preparation. Arkansas went right back to scoring in the 90âs after the UH game.
Letâs hope this propels Arkansas and us to get votes in AP this week.
I still donât think weâll get votes yet. If we beat LSU in Baton Rouge this week, I think that may start to get us some attention from the voters, but it may take beating Providence at the Mohegan Sun.
