The senior also helped the Cougars to a second-place finish in the men’s 4x400-meter relay and the fifth-fastest time in program history with a time of 3:05.05. The marks sits atop The American in the conference rankings and 12thnationally.
For Houston, the award is the teams seventh of the outdoor slate, and the third for Igbokwe in his career. The Cougars have racked up 18 total weekly awards this season.
