Miles is originally out of Tomball and spent 2 years at Coffeyville CC. Last year, he finished 2nd in the Indoor Weight Throw and 13th in the shotput in the NJCAA Indoor Championships. At the Outdoor, he finished 4th in the Hammer Throw and 12th in the shotput.
