There are some that have orange passes that tailgate up on the roof but technically you need more than one pass to take up a spot next to your car. And mixing tailgating amongst parked cars kind of ruins the vibe. Also, with no shade and green space, I am not sure how attractive it would be as a tailgate location especially in September.
Well ban cars from general parking on the roof on game day and add tents the same as you would at a tailgate in a parking lot. Make them purchase a minimum of 3 parking spaces. Block off a section for artificial football turf. It could be really nice and fun if planned properly.
Iâm picturing a tent city of tailgating like at some other schools but on the roof.

And eventually put in a crosswalk from the roof of the garage to the upper concourse of the stadium, ultimate in convenience and experience.
