Pitching Breakdown:
Carter Henry | 4.2 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 4 BB, 6 K
Nolan Bond | 4.1 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 3 K

Freshman Carter Henry worked 4.2 innings in his fifth start of his young career. He struck out six and surrendered three runs on six hits with four walks for the no-decision. He handed the ball over to sophomore teammate Nolan Bond in the fifth, who managed to retire the one hitter he faced in that frame.

Bond returned and was dominant, allowing just one run on four hits with no walks in 4.1 innings out of the bullpen. The righty struck out three en route to his first career win as a Cougar.

Based off tonight’s win, Nolan has us moving up to 22nd in the RPI.

Cincy series won’t help us much in RPI unless we sweep.

To have any chance at hosting, we probably have to sweep Cincy and then win the AAC tourney while probably losing no more than one game.
