The NCAA released their attendance figures for this past year. Attendance overall dropped by 25 fans per game, but was also the 10th highest total of all-time:
Houston did not make the list of top 100 schools in attendance, however, Houston did have the 20th highest increase of all schools last year and the AAC was 8th overall in total attendance:
The complete 2016-17 American Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date. The Cougars will release their non-conference schedule, which is expected to feature, eight home games inside Hofheinz Pavilion, in the near future.
