My guess is cost of attendance. They’re saying that UTEP students are more likely to receive grants which drops their avg tuition to $5,868 while UH’s avg tuition after grants is $15,184. Even though UH students are expected to make over $10K more starting out than UTEP students, I guess it wasn’t enough to offset the fact that the avg tuition was lower.
