What a buffoon! There area almost 400 teams that are able to get into the tournament, 64 do. You make it to the 2nd round meaning you are amongst the 32 best and that is not deserving of a ring? Really?

Agreed. I thought it was silly when they gave the rings out. I hope we don’t put a participation banner up in the new arena for 2018 and instead have a banner with the number of NCAA tourney appearances instead. Final Four appearances definitely deserve their own banner.
I’m OK with the rings. Teams get rings for playing in meaningless bowl games.
