I was able to get dark mode extension for Safari on my iPhone. This extension cost $5 (one time fee) but well worth it if you like reading Coogfans in bed with the wife sleeping next to you.
Download Dark Reader for Safari in App Store
Open App and follow instructions. Took about 2 minutes.
