Did they change the block in the back rule to include any block where the opponent isn’t looking?

SMU has “Dallas” on their jerseys. Guess someone thought they had to show everyone where they are located. We don’t have that problem.

We have our city in our name. As the say in Oklahoma…Oklahoma is OK.

The university of Dallas is saying…”Not so fast my friends!”.

Interesting pop up tents for players to sit under on the sideline…I don’t think I have seen that in a game before. Not a bad idea…but I guess there are no fans there to block their view.

They wear the “Dallas” jerseys whenever they play against another Texas school. They started doing that last season.

Yes, they changed the rule to prevent the brutal crack back block where a player is following a play and the other player hits him from the side. You usually see the defenseless player knocked into the air. The player could have just used his arms to block him.

Agree. Ugly game all around. Refs, announcers, electronics, and mostly, SMU.
