As I stated elsewhere … our corners need to cover more consistently AND TACKLE!!! … the skills are there because we don’t recruit chop liver … the teaching techniques could well be lacking so we shall see if the week off helped solidify our deficiencies at the corners …
Pass rush is the same story … against TT it was none existent …
Tulsa basically should have the same offense as the one Kendal is running since both coaches were OCs under Art … thing is Tulsa’s offense is still chasing its tail or going through a revolving door …
Hopefully it WILL NOT FIND ITSELF against our iffy secondary and iffy pass rush …

I agree. Our offense is explosive enough to take some defensive risks early. Let’s see if this new kid is even capable of beating us with his arm. We cannot allow for him to stay comfortable back there and build confidence.
this is an enduring UH problem. secondary getting burned and not tackling always seems to be an issue.
Student section should be lively. Already seen a few kids puking.

Just like the way we did last time we faced a freshman QB! Oh wait, we didn’t do that and that guy threw for 605 yards against us. Let’s hope we learned from that and bring the pressure!
