Oliver and Joell Williams on PFF Week 3 All AAC Defense

Williams only had 2 tackles and a pass defensed late in game(deep ball where he riped WR hands for ball) but apparently did good job overall. I didn’t see him have any mistakes that stood out in rewatching. Just thought he deserves some recognition. He played last year mostly as blitzed from slot on 3rd down and got pressure often. This year he has played nickel and safety in pass coverage.Bright spot in crappy team performance. PFF grades each player on each play and are very tough graders.
Ed grading a 90 for this game shows the impact he had that didn’t show up in stats line. He was held twice…that were actually called…many weren’t.

If you want to read some serious TT butt hurt about the holding non-calls, check out the comments to Duarte’s twitter posts about it. I’ve never seen so much butt hurt from the fans of the team that won. LOL!

CMA is right. I believe TT teaches it. They hold jersey with 2 hands. Refs won’t call them all. So if you hold every play…you will take the advantage you get from it and live with the 4 you get called on.
