I assume you’re talking about UH campus and not TSU campus. I know nothing about TSU’s campus, but agree with JitterPug if you’re talking about UH campus.
Mandola’s Deli near the UH campus is really good and Coog-friendly.

We caught an early dinner @ Spanish Village, just West of 59 and about 8 blocks West of the TSU campus. Excellent food. Been in same spot for 50 years.
