TULANE

Tulane will meet Houston this weekend with a 14-20 record and a 4-5 mark in American play.
The Green Wave is coming off a 4-3 walkoff win over New Orleans on Tuesday. Tulane fell in a series on the road at Wichita State last weekend, 2-1.
As a team, Tulane is hitting .254 with 16 home runs, 71 doubles and 154 RBI.
Leading the way offensively is Grant Witherspoon with a .328 average, team-best 42 hits and 23 RBI.
David Bedgood follows with a .288 clip, while Jonathon Artigues is hitting .280.
The Green Wave pitching staff owns a 5.58 ERA with 228 strikeouts to 172 walks through 295.1 innings.
Tulane is led in wins by Kaleb Roper at 4-3 with a 4.03 ERA through eight starts. He has fanned 40 and walked 23 in 44.2 innings.
Keagan Gillies paces the staff with a 3.11 ERA and is 2-4 through eight starts. Ben White follows with a 1-3 record and a 6.38 ERA.
Sam Bjorngjeld has made a team-high 21 appearances out of the bullpen and is 1-2 with one save and a 5.59 ERA.

Tulane pitching has been mostly atrocious. That plus our hitting… something has to give. Hopefully guys like Hollis, Bielo, Slaughter and Padgett can come up big like they did last weekend.
