Arkansas is coming here, right?
So Providence, Arkansas and 3 games in the Virgin Islands.
Hopefully, we have 3-4 more real games on the schedule, and only 3-4 cupcakes.
Don’t forget a top 5 team (Wichita St) is also in this year’s schedule, Red. They look like last year’s Gonzaga team on paper.
I’ve heard differing stories on Arkansas. Supposedly they will be coming to Houston, but their was some talk of pushing it back a year. May also be extending that series out to 4 years.
LSU may also be on the schedule again as they were trying to extend that one as well.
UH is also tentatively scheduled to play Arkansas at Toyota Center during the 2017-18 season. The Cougars will play games at Texas Southern’s HP&E Arena and Toyota Center while construction is underway on the Fertitta Center.
The Cougars also have agreed to a home-and-home series with LSU. The teams will meet next season in Baton Rouge, La., and in 2018 at the Fertitta Center.
