I believe we just struck out 38 times in 101 at bats in the tourney. That would be 72 strikeouts in 201 at bats this year, or 36 percent of the time.
How many were swinging strike outs (SO) vs called strike outs? A called SO is a worthless AB.
We beat #25 and lost to #1 in extras…I like our chances going forward

Watching the game last night was an awesome experience. I think Pettitte, Henry, & Hurdsman all deserve a standing ovation after that performance. In all my years of watching this team I’ve never seen a battle like that with our pitching before especially against that good of a team. Win or lose that was the cougar team I’m excited to watch win games this year. Amazing job boys!
