Here’s a good article on how the Tight End is used in the Baylor offense. It was mostly written because Baylor moved a 400 lb OL to TE, but the concepts are there. The Tight End will be very important in this offense and I’ve seen where Baylor had the Tight End (or Running Back) calling out protection responsibilities.
